The Kentucky Derby, AKA the most exciting two minutes in sports, is coming up Saturday, May 1st! Today we're sharing a complete list of how to create a fun Derby atmosphere at home while the horses run for the roses at Churchill Downs.
Get the party started with your favorite charcuterie. Give a nod to the famous Kentucky Hot Brown on your charcuterie board by incorporating cherry tomatoes, crackers, Pecorino Romano cheese, roasted turkey, and bacon. Be sure to have a vase of roses nearby to set the Derby mood. We're betting on our handmade, dark wood, raspberry epoxy board to win best in show on your appetizer spread.
No Derby gathering is complete without the signature Derby cocktails, Mint Juleps and Lillies, so of course we have the recipes ready for your bar cart!
Hedge your bets for more oohhs and ahhs with a sweet treat, non-alcoholic rose gummies. These are a crowd favorite and bring in a touch of the Derby theme, roses!
